2026 Easter Renewal Offering
Every year during the Easter season, we receive a special offering known as our Easter Renewal Offering. God has used this offering in beautiful ways. Through the generosity of our church, we have:
Supported church plants in Washington DC and the UK
Opened a Compassion center in Ecuador, where over 300 children have been sponsored and rescued from poverty
Started partnerships in the Middle East
Supported our mission training center, Radius International, in Tijuana, Mexico
Planted three Church at the Cross daughter churches
It has been a fruitful offering, and your gifts have made a tangible impact on lives around the world.
This year, our Easter Renewal Offering will go to three key initiatives:
North American Mission Board (NAMB)
First, we will support our partner, The North American Mission Board (NAMB). Since 2010, NAMB has planted over 11,000 churches. All three of our church plants have benefited from NAMB’s resources and expertise. Our gifts to NAMB help start and strengthen new churches throughout North America.
CATC Church Planting Fund
Second, we will finance our own Church Planting Fund. This fund helps us start new churches and give special and strategic support to our current church plants. For example, last year, God provided two of our church plants with permanent spaces that required costly renovations. Through our church planting fund, we were able to provide some assistance to those needed renovations. With a well-supplied church planting fund, we are ready to serve our current church plants and are postured to launch another church when the planter is prepared.
CATC Members Serving the Nations
Third, we want to provide some practical and tangible support to CATC members who are engaged full-time in making disciples of all nations. Currently, we have three covenant members serving in strategic ways to reach the nations with the Gospel of Jesus.
Sarah Guthrie — For the Nations
For the Nations Refugee Outreach helps families navigate life in America through education and advocacy, all while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. Sarah has been serving for 14 years and loves bringing the Gospel to the nations in the DFW area. She and her husband, Tyson, have been faithful members at CATC for 12 years.
Elijah Brumwell — Global Training Network
GTN provides quality biblical and theological training to indigenous church planters, pastors, and Christian leaders throughout Asia. Elijah and his wife Meredith have a heart for the world and love serving through Global Training Network.
Lane Kipp — All Access
All Access wants all people to have access to the Gospel and the means to lift themselves out of extreme poverty. They curate well-vetted, metric-driven, high-impact ministries around the world, and connect impact-driven donors with those ministries to advance the Great Commission. Lane and his wife Claire are special people doing special work.
In addition to these members, we will also be blessing our partners, S and C, in the Middle East who are working on translation work and church planting among an unreached people group.
Your Gift Makes a Lasting Impact
When you give to the ERO, you are making a significant impact on the lives of innumerable people. God is going to use these gifts to spread the message and mercy of Christ all over the world. Would you prayerfully consider giving to this special offering? Gifts will be received through Eastertide, Sunday, May 31. You can give online or in any of our gatherings.
For the sake of Jesus and those he loves, let’s embrace the radical generosity shown to us in the Gospel.
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9, NIV)
