Equipping you for
ministry inside the church walls and beyond

When we choose to follow Jesus, we don't automatically acquire the abilities to study the Bible, pray, lead our homes and families according to Scripture, or share the Gospel effectively. These skills are developed through intentional training. We believe that encountering Jesus brings renewal, and with the right training and a willingness to be sent, we can see God's mission unfold in our lives, families, communities, and beyond.

Rooted

"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, ROOTED and built up in Him and established in the faith." Colossians 2:6

We are all strugglers. We struggle with sin. We struggle with suffering. We struggle with issues, relationships, addictions, temptations, and ourselves. ROOTED guides us to plant deeply into the one source that leads us to transformation and renewal.

ROOTED is a 12-week course designed as an intensive discipleship experience. You will dig deep into the gospel of Christ for specific and direct application to your heart and life.

Each meeting will have a teaching time and gender-specific small groups. Participants will be sent home with guided devotional exercises that involve scripture, prayer, and openness before the Lord.

Important: The design of ROOTED requires a commitment to attend and participate for all 12 weeks. You will be challenged to look at your heart issues, share in your small group, and complete homework before each group meeting.

Testimonials

The mid-week Training Classes at CATC are a true highlight of my week. They provide a much-needed boost when I’m feeling drained, helping me recharge and push through the rest of the week. The classes are also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with my Godly friends. Being surrounded by people who share my faith is incredibly uplifting and strengthens our bonds. The sense of community here is a major reason I keep coming back. I’m always learning new disciplines that deepen my walk with Jesus, whether through studying scripture or practicing new spiritual habits. I took the Prayer class twice because I loved it so much! Each class leaves me with valuable insights that help me grow in my faith and apply it more effectively in my daily life.
— Karmen Harkey
Last semester, I enrolled in the Christian Doctrine Training class at CATC, and it was a transformative experience. JR guided us through deep theological topics in an understandable way, providing a primer for my mind to meditate on the things of God. Each class left me with more questions and my mind filled with truth. The class fueled my hunger for understanding God and biblical doctrine. After each session, my husband and I would delve into related books and discuss the subject matter, enriching our conversations with theological depth. This class changed how we think about God and His greatness, making our daily conversations and inner thought life more reflective of His goodness. I found myself constantly thinking about God and marveling at His greatness. CATC Training Classes offer a valuable space for engaging deeply with Gospel-centered teaching and experiencing the joy of loving God with our minds.

4D PRAYER

As followers of Jesus, growing a prayer life should be one of our greatest priorities. Our prayer life says a lot about how real God is to us and how valued God is to us. If we say we value him but we are not talking or growing in a conversational relationship with him, those claims are questionable. 4D prayer is a helpful way to help you grow in your prayer life with God.
