Day 9: We desire an atmosphere of joy and anticipation

Welcome to Day 9 of 20 Days of Prayer for the Awaken Conference!

Scripture: Romans 15:13 NIV — “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Prayer Prompt: As we approach Awaken, pray that the entire atmosphere is one of joy and breathlessly keeping up with what the Spirit of God is doing. Pray that this anticipation becomes the great desire of our hearts. Ask that we will exert our energy, strength, prayers, and ministry efforts to that end. Pray for revelation and repentance of anything hindering that work of God among us. Pray that our people will be filled with all joy and peace as we trust him, so that we will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
