Day 11: Seek humbling through confession and repentance.

Welcome to Day 11 of 20 Days of Prayer for the Awaken Conference!

Scripture: 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV — “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 

Prayer Prompt: We approach a God who hears, forgives, and heals. Pray that we will not try to save face in any way. Ask the Lord to reveal specific sins. Ask God to grant us a desire and ability to turn away from those sins. Confess a posture of self-rule, self-sufficiency, self-reliance, and self-promotion. Ask for vision to see what our sin has done to God’s heart and the cost attached to our forgiveness. Seek his face today. Be assured that he hears, forgives, and heals.
