Day 14: Commit to obedience.

Welcome to Day 14 of 20 Days of Prayer for the Awaken Conference!

Scripture: James 5:16 NIV — “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” 

Prayer Prompt: It is not only forgiveness we need but the healing of our wills. Therefore, pray that we will have renewed hearts that seek to obey God. Seek humility of heart in submission to God and fully yield to his will. Ask for a greater expectancy of him to answer and set your heart to do his will. Pray that our prayers, in accordance with these truths, grow in power and effectiveness as we ourselves grow in humble submission and obedience.
