Day 18: Pray for 48 Hours of Prayer

Welcome to Day 18 of 20 Days of Prayer for the Awaken Conference!

Scripture: Matthew 7:7-11 NIV — “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” 

Prayer Prompt: Pray for prayer! May the Lord pour out upon us a spirit of grace and prayer. Pray that all time slots are filled for 48 Hours of Prayer. Pray for the physical safety of our campus at all hours of each day. Pray for big prayers to be prayed, for boldness in asking, and for trust in the goodness of the Father as we pour out our hearts to him. Ask the Spirit to increase within us a swelling faith that asks, seeks, and knocks believing that we will receive, find, and experience opened doors. Pray that we truly lean upon the goodness of the Father, the wisdom of the Father, and the power of the Father. Ask that the “how much more”-ness of the Father would settle deep within our hearts so that we seek him and ask of him without fear or doubt.
