Day 4: Ask for a sensitivity to sin with a felt joy over God’s forgiveness

Welcome to Day 4 of 20 Days of Prayer for the Awaken Conference!

Scripture: Psalm 130:4 NIV — “But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared.” 

Prayer Prompt: Pray that we will have a piercing conviction of all the ways we have resisted God’s Spirit and not walked in the way of Jesus, of all the ways we have withheld our love from God and from others. Pray that we grieve over our worldliness that has left us spiritually dry and powerless. Pause—cry out now to God to forgive us and restore us. Pray that the gospel of God’s forgiveness in Christ becomes more and more precious to us as we experience his pardoning grace.
