Day 6: Seek a responsiveness to God’s Word
/Welcome to Day 6 of 20 Days of Prayer for the Awaken Conference!
Scripture: Psalm 119:103 NIV — “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
Prayer Prompt: Pray that we will hunger for the Scriptures with our ears open to it and our palate craving it. Ask for willingness and commitment to read it, study it, and seek to obey it. In the words of the Psalmist, ask that it becomes sweet as honey to us. Pray that our hearts rejoice in the revelation of our God and his grace to us in it. Ask that when it is preached, his Word comes to us as light, with a weight of authority and great conviction that gives clarity to our lives. Ask that we gladly set our hearts to hear it and order our lives by it.
